Arnella is a past student of Drexel university in Philadelphia, where she gained a postmaster certificate as a Psychiatric nurse practitioner. Her masters, and nursing education was achieved at Walden University, and she proudly carries the title of alumnus at Norfolk State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing. Her vast experience in the healthcare industry started as a certified nurse assistant, hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy reserve and completed active-duty time at the Portsmouth Navy Medical Center. She worked as a licensed, practical nurse at Correctional facilities, nursing homes, and private agencies, her registered nursing gained her mental Health experience at CSB in Norfolk, civil service mental health nursing at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, and VA Hampton Medical Center. She sought to help students understand mental health at ECPI for a short time AND continues to precept psychiatric nurse practitioner students.
Today and every day she is available and ready to teach, assess, manage, mental health and addiction conditions. She re-evaluate to make sure everyone gets to optimal functioning by stopping addiction and improving mental health. She assesses and treats children, teenager’s adults, intellectually disabled, and the geriatric population.
